Handling information
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Flammable. For industrial use only. Handle and open containers with care. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not ingest. Avoid inhalation of chemical. DO NOT handle or store near an open flame, heat, or other sources of ignition. Fixed equipment as well as transfer containers and equipment should be grounded to prevent accumulation of static charge. DO NOT pressurize, cut, heat, or weld containers. Empty containers may contain hazardous product residues. Keep the containers closed when not in use. Protect against physical damage. Use appropriate personnel protective equipment. Handling Temperature: Ambient. Static Accumulator: This material is astatic accumulator. A liquid is typically considered a nonconductive, static accumulator if its conductivity is below 100pS/m (100x10E-12 Siemens per meter) and is considered a semi conductive, static accumulator if its conductivity is below 10,000 pS/m. Whether a liquid is nonconductive or semi conductive, the precautions are the same. A number off actors, for example liquid temperature, presence of contaminants, anti-static additives and filtration can greatly influence the conductivity of a liquid. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area, away from heat and ignition sources. Use explosion-proof ventilation to prevent vapor accumulation. First Aid
Eye Contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids. Consult a physician.Skin Contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician.Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician. If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If symptoms persist, get medical attention. If breathing has stopped, trained personnel should begin artificial respiration (AR) immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In situations where administering oxygen is appropriate, first aiders must be trained in the safe use and handling of oxygen. It is preferable to administer oxygen under a doctor's supervision or advice. If the heart has stopped, trained personnel should begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately. Immediate medical assistance is required.Ingestion: Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Immediate medical attention is required. Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Aspiration hazard if swallowed - can enter lungs and cause damage. Observe risk of aspiration if vomiting occurs.
